In 2016, Tony Fletcher, aged 51, his wife, the same age, and their 11-yr old younger son Noel sold off possessions, rented out their house, strapped on backpacks and went around the world. Their journey took them to a dozen countries in three different countries. They climbed the Himalayas, visited a school in Africa, an orphanage in Nepal, learned to scuba dive and took a two-day trip down the Mekong River into Laos. An ideal workshop for anyone planning to go traveling: learn the how, the what, and the why not?
